So glad to be finally showcasing this beautiful wedding. Annie and Taylor, along with their magnificent planner, Blair Gewin, threw a beautiful Southern Wedding in Fairhope, AL this spring and it was absolutely flawless. We hit it off with Annie right away (she is as sweet as southern pecan pie) and cannot wait to see them and watch their family grow for years to come. They’ve already started with their precious dog, Rue seen in the preparation photos. They did a first look at the Grand Hotel, Point Clear, with the ceremony taking place at sunset on Mobile Bay. Huge shout out to the owner, Mary Cane, of the beautiful private property near Bon Secour where the reception took place for hosting such a grand event.

What’s cuter than a baby turning one? How about two cousins turning one just days apart… Ty and Walt are two cute cousins, and their parents didn’t disappoint when it came to props and outfits to they chose for this adorable 1st birthday shoot. We have been photographing this family since their parents were married two years ago, and it’s so much fun to watch them grow. We headed over to Mobile for their shoots and had a great time playing with these handsome boys. Alabama Wedding Photographers – We posted a little peek of Sara & Davis’ Southern Alabama Wedding for you last week, but what we didn’t post about was the terribly overcast weather that day and the fact that Sara was pretty sick on her wedding day. We made the decision before the ceremony even started to have an “after session” to really enjoy some relaxing post wedding portrait time and make full use of that beautiful property. With our friends at Diva Productions beside us, we set up another first look for them to get that wedding day feeling all over again and proceeded to start a their photo session in the same area that Davis proposed.  We even had to cancel this shoot twice before this day because of bad weather, but the skies on this day were incredible.  We had so much fun playing and having a laid back session with them.

If you missed their engagement session we photographed at the same location, check that our here:

We have a special treat for you today from one of our recent engagement sessions. Nothing makes us happier than an awesome couple, their dogs, a rope swing, and South Alabama. Sara and Davis will be married this winter, and we feel so blessed to be a part of their wedding. We knew as soon as we started this session that they were going to make it easy on us because they are just so good together… and they did. This is probably one of our favorite sessions to date. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do!

You may remember this cute couple from their engagement session a couple of months ago. This is our second wedding with Brandon’s family, and we were so honored to get to know Brooke’s family this time as well. I only wish all of you reading this could be as lucky as we are to get to spend time with such an uplifting group of people. This is part 1 of their recent 3 day wedding celebration that we cannot wait to share.

Their festivities began on Thursday night at a private chapel in south Alabama on the family property. Brooke and Brandon were surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones for a blessing of their upcoming marriage. It was a very spiritual and uplifting event that was extremely moving to those who were there. What a wonderful way to kick off the weekend.

Those of you who follow our blog might notice that we don’t post a lot of B&W photos. We believe there is a certain way to use B&W like a tool, where the emotion or the story can be enhanced by avoiding the distraction all of the colors in a photo. This was one of those times where turning off the color really allows you to feel the emotion happening here…Our couple was whisked across the property afterwards in this classic Mustang to the stables for some more fellowship and a good ol’ Southern Barbecue. >

Randi sat down with us last year when she booked to tell us about her farm wedding in Greenville, AL. There’s nothing better than when we envision something great in our heads, and then we’re blown away x 10 when we actually get there and see the real thing. It was beautiful! Chase and his dad own this 1400 acre farm complete with stocked lakes and pet deer. Guests were shuttled to the back corner of the property for a ceremony under a massive oak tree next to one of the two lakes. The reception tent was on on a hill with a fire pit just a quick walk away overlooking the lake. The moon was full, the stars were bright, and it was a magical night. The vendors involved are some of the best in the FL Panhandle who traveled to Greenville  to pull off this magnificent event. We are so delighted to be able to show you their work that made this wedding possible. Enjoy!

Deanna & Chris came all the way from the city of Nashvegas (Nashville) in October for a destination wedding in Gulf Shores, AL at the massive Halekai House.  Charli from All the Details helped plan and coordinate the day to perfection.  Deanna’s favorite flower from Chris is the rose, so incorporating them into the decor’ was a must.  The design was elegantly tasteful and probably one of our favorites with all of that deep romantic red built in. This was a wonderful celebration of family and close friends that was as much fun for us as the guests. Enjoy some of the day’s fun. Love this dress x 10!Deanna had a vintage Ruby ring that Chris gave her.  It was passed down in the family…Va Voom!Red roses have never looked so great! The colors at sunset were just beautiful..The food was so colorful and red that we thought it deserved it own collage.
