Rosemary Beach Wedding – We always get excited when Jennifer from It’s a Shore Thing contacts us to meet a bride because we know it’s going to be a beautiful event with the best vendors in the area. Amy & Chad’s Rosemary Beach wedding on the Western Green was no exception. They booked us almost a year ago, which worked out great since May 14 ended up being THE most popular wedding day of the season. Every detail of the wedding was just beautiful, from the blue shoes Amy chose all the way to that chocolate buttercream groom’s cake. It couldn’t have been a more perfect afternoon.
We love it when a bride adds a splash of color fun to her wedding attire, and these blue shoes did not disappoint!
Once again, clean, white bouquet, but the blue ribbon wrapped around the stems really enhanced these gorgeous flowers.
TThe architecture at Rosemary Beach is beautiful for photos. Here’s a shot from the outside looking into the bedroom where Amy was putting on her dress.
If you’re looking to have a Rosemary Beach Wedding, the lawn is one of the most beautiful lawns on 30A.
The skies over Rosemary were absolutely amazing….. 30-A has some of the prettiest sunsets you will ever find.
The wedding crowd is always more eager to get the dance floor hopping when the B&G are on it themselves, and Amy & Chad did not disappoint!Amy is quite the singer herself… I Will Survive was the song of choice.Shootshed made an appearance too and was quite the hit!
Bubbles are always a great choice for wedding departures. They look great in photos!
There’s nothing better than than arriving at a wedding and being visually overjoyed with creativity and color schemes. That was the feeling we had as soon as we arrived at Carillon to Lauren & Trevor’s wedding. Lauren chose a pink & yellow wedding color scheme that was fun, modern, & just perfect for the season. This was definitely a FUN group of people who came for a destination wedding from Memphis and brought their southern hospitality with them. I think the phrase “They liked to dance” would be an understatement!
We gave this post a little extra love and hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed being there!
Lauren’s mom popped out of her room in that rockin’ pink dress and she got a major round of applause!
Totally in love with these colors… especially the shoes!
Their first dance started out with a fake-out slow song and then transitioned into a fast dance to everyone’s surprise. They repeated that with their parents as well who could boogie down with the best.
Another wonderful meal by Townsend Catering. This very berry salad is one of our faves!
We simply adore Watercolor weddings and really enjoy working with our friend Cheryl Walton every time we have a wedding there. She talked so highly of Cindy and Robert, and we knew why the first time we met with them. Although their kids are almost grown, they are a perfect modern day version of the Brady Bunch. They love vacationing on 30a and knew that’s where they wanted to plan their destination wedding from Tennessee. Watercolor was a perfect choice, and Cheryl & staff did an amazing job as usual. The day was completely laid back, stress free, and their guests really seemed to have a great time.

Deanna & Chris came all the way from the city of Nashvegas (Nashville) in October for a destination wedding in Gulf Shores, AL at the massive Halekai House. Charli from All the Details helped plan and coordinate the day to perfection. Deanna’s favorite flower from Chris is the rose, so incorporating them into the decor’ was a must. The design was elegantly tasteful and probably one of our favorites with all of that deep romantic red built in. This was a wonderful celebration of family and close friends that was as much fun for us as the guests. Enjoy some of the day’s fun. Love this dress x 10!Deanna had a vintage Ruby ring that Chris gave her. It was passed down in the family…Va Voom!Red roses have never looked so great! The colors at sunset were just beautiful..The food was so colorful and red that we thought it deserved it own collage.
Some couples are high maintenance and others are super laid back. Marti & Mark were definitely in the laid back category. It was a weekday destination wedding with their close friends and family and it was a perfect day. Of course, Jennifer of It’s a Shore Thing helped on that part! Marti’s gorgeous silk gown floated along the sand as if she were Cinderella.

We are so excited about Lauren and Colin’s wedding! They are from Mobile (just like Wes and me) and they are getting married in Inlet Beach in May. Lauren and Colin are our kind of people. They are silly and don’t take too much serious! But, the best part is that they hired It’s A Shore Thing to plan their wedding. These ladies are awesome and the wedding is going to be so much fun. Colin is Scottish, so we might even see a kilt or two.
Anyway, we met in Fairhope, Alabama, for their session and walked around downtown and then headed to the pier. Fairhope is such a quaint town full of great walls and porches and blooming flowers.
I told you there were flowers everywhere!
Lauren is so happy all the time! She laughs when we ask for serious!
LOVE this one! And, love the wall reflecting in the window. See the actual wall on the next one down.
Lauren might just kill me for posting this one. She wanted to do it!!
I love how they just look so happy and loved!
Oh where do I begin? Hannalore and I hit it off from the 1st conversation. She grew up in Mobile (like Wes and I did) and she graduated from a rival high school the same year as Wes. We were all in the marching band too (yes, we were cool)! We also discovered that one of Hannalore’s good friends was Wes’ good friend in elementary school. It really is a small world. Anyway, we were excited to shoot at two new locations. The ceremony was at Dune Allen Beach off Highway 30A. It is a small strip of beach nestled in between very large beach houses and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. The reception was at the exclusive Cypress Dunes Clubhouse. I say exclusive because it’s a little tricky to have a wedding there. It was truly amazing. But, wow! Wait until you see Hannalore! Stunning. We were also excited to have the pleasure of working with Celestine’s again. Oh, the band! They were from Mobile and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
